Instructions

Untie the Knots Within You Through Yoga and Fasting. On the path of awakening, three knots (granthis) bind us—Brahma, Vishnu, and Rudra Granthi. Untying these knots is essential for growth, and yoga and fasting can help you break free.

1️⃣ Brahma Granthi (Swadishthana Chakra) – Tied to physical desires, material attachments, and selfishness. This knot binds us to pleasure and compulsion. But rising above doesn’t mean lifelong celibacy. It means overcoming compulsive desires and living with awareness. Every time you choose simplicity over excess, you loosen this knot. Practicing 16-hour intermittent fasting regularly helps regulate cravings and cultivate discipline, gradually untangling this knot.

2️⃣ Vishnu Granthi (Anahata Chakra) – The knot of attachment, tied to emotions and desires. We cling to relationships, material gains, and emotional securities, fearing loss. This desire for permanence restricts growth. Letting go of emotional attachments and embracing impermanence softens this knot. Incorporating a 24-hour fast once a week trains the mind to detach, reducing dependency on external comforts and helping to release this knot.

3️⃣ Rudra Granthi (Agya Chakra) – The hardest knot, linked to self-doubt and destructive thoughts. Just when stillness arises, doubts resurface—making us feel inadequate. But when we recognize thoughts as empty, we stop giving them power. Choosing self-love over self-criticism unties this knot. Regular meditation combined with fasting strengthens awareness and helps silence this inner noise.

The secret? You can’t untie a knot by pulling harder. It takes patience, awareness, and practice. Every time you choose simplicity over greed, let go of attachments, or choose kindness over doubt, you’re untying these knots—one step closer to liberation. 🌸
