Why I love a forward leaning inversion during pregnancy 👇🏼 ➡️ release tension in the uterine ligaments & help create space in the lower uterus with the help of gravity. This can potentially improve fetal positioning and may help with breech or transverse babies ➡️ it may help bring relief for low back, hip, SI joint tailbone & round ligament pain. How to make it easier: inversions do require a good amount of shoulder strength, especially when done from this height. if you struggle to get in and out of position opt for a lower incline or switch to movements like a puppy pose with your hips high. You can perform these daily. Hold in position for 3-5 breaths - or up to 30 seconds. Make sure you pause in a tall kneeling position once finished. ‼️This is not medical advice and this movement is not suitable for everyone. Contradictions include high blood pressure, dizziness, pain/bleeding, any known issues involving the placenta. If unsure, check with your provider!
