where all of our philosophy Club sessions talking about all areas of yoga philosophy are saved for you to listen to at your pleasure attending your weekly virtual coaching live is optional but I recommend it because it helps you to maintain motivation and discipline in your studies it helps you maintain a connection with fellow teacher trainees and it gives you a space to ask questions to dig deeper into areas of study to share your ideas and insights and to chat about all things yoga with a great group of yogis next I answer a few frequently asked questions so these are questions that I get regularly that I hope uh answer those questions for you give you a bit more insight into the course so first what if you have to miss a virtual or face-to-face session there's a recording of a previous session that you can review in your own time and a homework sheet you can complete so you're sure to cover all of the material that you might have missed the next question what if I'm not sure which course is right for me but you can schedule a chat with me or lead trainer to talk through your needs and goals and we can work together to find the course that's right for you our next question how long do you have to complete your coursework two years from the time of registration and how do you submit that coursework you can complete quizzes online and you can email writing assignments video assignments audio assignments directly to me your lead trainer for review and to receive feedback our next frequently Asked question is do I have to be able to do advanced yoga poses to be a yoga teacher and I want to be really clear the answer is no and all of our trainings we explore a variety of ways to practice each technique including regressions progressions accessible versions and props our idea of advanced is working with the pose version that's right for your body today and we welcome people of all abilities to take part in yoga teacher training next question can I get recognition of Prior learning or rpls for a course unit that I've already completed yes you can if you've already completed a unit of study with us that's included in your teacher training you can get recognition of Prior learning and a discount for that unit when you register next let's look at what does the training portal look like so in your training portal you'll have a few courses including your core unit so in this example you'll see it's the 350 hour yoga teacher training and in that unit you'll explore history and philosophy teaching skills and strategies you also have some additional units like for example the vinyasa flow online unit where you'll really dig into the technical study of poses the anatomy Basics unit where you'll explore through Reading and video study and practical exercises how we move in yoga and how yoga benefits all the systems of the body so whatever course you're taking you're going to have a core unit and you'll have some additional units once you're inside of a course you're going to see that you've got different modules of study and then within each module you have lessons so you can move through your lessons one by one guiding you simply through your study and as you complete each lesson you're able to tick it off and move on to the next place inside of a lesson that might include some reading it might include listening to an audio discussion or in the case of this example sequencing Basics watching a video if you prefer to study offline or you'd just like to download and save all your study resources you'll be able to download your workbooks videos essential forms audio discussions straight to your devices you might like to print your manual you might like to download your audio discussions to your phone so you can take them with you on a walk or a drive so this gives you the ability to download and save all of your materials next how are courses assessed well depending on your course your assessments might include quizzes writing assignments journals practice logs and graduate and postgraduate courses will include practice teaching journals and the submission of a teaching video and finally how do you register you can use the online tool on the website to register which you can find in each course page if you prefer to register offline we can email you a registration form and word which you can fill out directly into word or if you prefer handwriting you can do that as well and finally where can you get more information you can find all the course details upcoming dates registration forms
