Transcript

hey everybody is page on the back I am here with another yoga pose for you today baddha konasana so we're going to start in baddha konasana it is bound angle pose and what I want you to do is just open up your hips and bring the soles of your feet together if that's not an easy way to get into the post you're welcome to step your feet to the floor and then slowly opening and rotating from your hip allowing the seat to come together and be tips to rotate and open up from the inner thighs now if this is opposed where your knees are still sticking up and you're kind of being hushed into the pose then I would love to get linked it a book whatever you have at home you can elevate your hips and that way the needs can find their way a little bit more farther down and it's going to assist you in the pose so what I like to do is body Kozma is where the shields really close close in the to the groin and I bring my hands right behind me and then I lift my hips up to bring them a little bit closer to my field and then from there I give my feet a massage as the best part right how often do you give your feet a massage right take advantage of spotted two knots and a bound angle pose and you want to make sure you're opening up in your hips from your inner thigh area not your knees if you're trying to press your knees down you may end up how many some problems with some challenges up in your hips and compare so you want to be careful about now from here there are different variations of moving forward some people like to take their key fingers and wrap their few fingers around their big toe and then from there begin to lengthen and fold forward I personally like to hold on to my feet and open them up like a book and at the same time massaging now from here in order to fold forward in baddha konasana you do want to find a long spine and when you do because begin to fold forward you want to fold forward with your heart leading the way right you're starting from a straight spine and if your spine of them straight elevate your hips sit on something staff pillows if you need to and then you want to begin to leave forward and it's what happened to you is the fact that you kind of crunch in and you're leading with your head good maybe folding forward business for you maybe just ink right here and just lift me and allowing the openness of the heaviness of the leg to do the opening for you from here you're going to lengthen your spine long and then begin to move your way forward and then maybe this is where you go and that's beautiful if you have more in you you're welcome to go a little bit further again I have a dress my head i have not rounded my sign i'm still lengthening out from a telephone and making my way forward and then I like a variation where you bring your forearms onto the floor and then you can even extend your arms forward for a little bit of extra weight to allow yourself to fold into the phone I've just three there's another thing I like to do in baddha konasana cos i bring my forearm skin and you can do this even on your arms right you don't have to be that low and i'll actually demonstrate when here for my arm I like to play side to side sometimes they can get a little static and just in our poses and that's not what yoga is about yoga is about moving with the breath and movement right moving your body and I like to move back and forth and it pulled out the lower back side on each side so it really gets into my SI joints lower back sides of the waist for some people and it is kind of a find your way in the pose and then maybe that offers you a little bit deeper of an opening in the hip to fill them forward and again you can still be holding on to your feet and unspotted to know so that I like to roll up so in your body is nothing to make sure your total is still rooted to the floor if it's not read to the floor and it's kind of hanging up then root it back down and maybe you need to let your torso up its folding forward changes opposed for you then don't fall for it you don't have to and when I do roll up I like to just roll it through my spine as my tailbone runs down I rolled up Oh went up to a nice long spine and the crown of my head is the last thing to lift up autók an awesome it is a fabulous toes and it's a wonderful tool in your yoga arsenal to help you feel good this is a great pose or runners if you're just a city person like mames was always walking constantly and I hope you like it and enjoy your post and I will see you soon if you like this video below and your the ice thumbs up awesome have a fantastic night
