all the juicy stuff let's start with a little warmup to get our bodies primed and Ready for today's special pose the seated side Bend let's start this one with a cross-legged position making sure your sit bones are firmly planted on the mat inhale deeply lifting your arms over your head and as you exhale gently sway to one side pressing the supporting hand against the floor feeling that delicious stretch along your side body inhale back to the middle and exhale gracefully sway to the other side remember to use your palm as support let's keep this movement flowing sinking our breath with each gentle sway inviting in a sense of ease and relaxation towards the end of your exhale you may invite your gaze to look up and extend the stretch into your cervical spine and then flowing to the other side and again using the end of the exhale to look up to the sky Bend into the neck and then inhale back to center now let's bring that soothing energy into our seated side Bend let's begin by extending the left leg forward and then all the way out to the side as far as you possibly can today ensuring that there is no pain or ache within this pose so if you are feeling pain or ache please ease back and bring your heel closer towards the middle begin with a nice long back and your sitting bones firmly planted on the ground the back of your left palm will be placed against your inner left thigh [Music] inhale reaching your right arm up towards the sky feeling that beautiful stretch through your fingertips and as you exhale gracefully lean towards the left side slideing the Palm along the leg creating space and length along your entire torso let your right arm drop as far down over the head as possible make sure you're not feeling tension or ache and if you are as said before feel free to ease back and make this pose as comfortable as it can be for you today keep both sit bones rooted firmly on the mat as you explore the depth of this stretch inhale lengthen your spine and gaze forward and exhale gracefully lower yourself back down with the exit of the breath embracing the sensations as they rip throughout your body let's continue to breathe through these small movements with joy and presence honoring the Magnificent vessel that is your body as we navigate through the seated side Bend it's important to recognize the incredible benefits that it provides so let's get to it spinal flexibility it allows us to embrace the freedom of movement as we enhance the flexibility of our spine which promotes vitality and strength the stretching of the side body allows us to feel the sweet release as we stretch the inter coal muscles and obliques creating space and openness in the Torso this pose improves our Brea in by expanding your capacity for deep nourishing breaths as we open up the rib cage inviting in a fresh energy and vitality we energize the body by activating your inner fire and igniting your spirit as as we stimulate the circulation and energy flow throughout your body in this pose it's also tension relieving as it melts away any lingering tension in the shoulders neck and upper back inviting a sense of ease and relaxation more so it also allows us to ease the tension throughout the hips and as always last but not least the Mind Body Connection it allows us to cultivate a deeper sense of connection with yourself as we move mindfully and into intentionally through the pose tapping into the wisdom of our body and our spirit as we gracefully flow through to the opposite side these benefits are mirrored and Amplified ensuring that both sides of our body receive the love and attention that they really deserve inhale reaching your arms up towards the sky once again feeling that beautiful stretch all the way through to your fingertips and as you exhale gracefully lean to the opposite side creating space and length alongside your entire torso once more a reminder to keep both of your sitting bones firmly on the mat as you keep exploring this pose inhale once more lengthen your spine and gaze forward and as you exhale slowly place your body back down without ache or tensions as far as you can today and of
