How to do Ardha Padmasana ( Half Lotus Pose) | Superyogis

Ardha means half and Padma means Lotus in Sanskrit. So this is a half lotus pose. One can sit in this posture for the practice of pranayamas or meditation.

Namaste. We are going to do Ardha Padmasana now. Ardha means half. Padma means lotus. So this is half lotus portion. Everybody can do Ardha Padmasana. Only if you have any issues, knee injuries or knee arthritis, then only you should avoid it. And this is also one of the meditative portions. So you can use it for your meditation practice. Let's watch it. Very easy and simple. Just bend your right knee. Place your right foot under your left thigh and left foot on your right thigh. Ardha Padmasana is ready.
