Come back to the breathing again. Feel the rise and fall of the chest on the inhale and the invitation to relax and soften on the exhale. And thus notice so far the sensations of the body or the sounds about you or even the rhythm of your breath [snorts] are not necessarily distractions to the mind. They can actually be tools used to draw the mind into the present moment. Drawing the mind into the present moment is indeed the reason for meditation or the purpose of meditation is to leave the external. The yogis call it pratahara drawing the senses inward. Now continuing on the sounds are still there. The feelings are still there sensation wise. The breath is still rising and falling. You're just sitting in the midst of it observing. Your observe the and the observer. And then I want you to start the very tip of the crown of the head. I want you to trace your body from the crown of the head all the way down to your seat all the way down to your ankles. And notice any places in the body that feel very vibrant. They feel alive. They feel healthy.
