hello everyone hi I've decided to make this a little bit of a series of videos to a lot of people to know a little bit more about the practice about Kirpal yoga so this one is going to be about Kirpal oh the levels of Capello so what I've been thinking about it like I've been reading a lot about revisiting Patanjali yoga sutras and also practicing in my own practice incorporating a little bit more of the philosophy of Ayurveda which is the basically the medicine that goes with the practice and so really potentially so the yoga sutras are sort of the how can I say like the manual all the ten commandments are just like eight I think but the the it's the basis of the rules of yoga and it has moral observances and ethics of services and that's where a part of it is the physical practice of yoga so in the physical practice Kirpal Yoga has so something that it's just so remarkable that they have done away with Capel yoga has done away with the levels of beginners intermediate and advanced they don't label their classes that way and their practice that way and they instead come up with a very very wonderful and accessible way not as exclusive which is gentle moderate and bigger why does it go back to why do I relate it to the Yoga Sutras well because whether your practice is consistent and it has been for a long time or whether it's dwindling whether it's just sorry was just at the beginning or if it's just dwindling a little bit this is something that go past she goes back to the state of the mind our minds are fluctuating right and so the state of our bodies and what our bodies are able to do what we are able to do with our bodies really always goes back to the fluctuations of the mind and so what we want is to balance out the state of the mind so that it's not extremely active or too lethargic and inertia so we want to bring it to balance and so what crapola does is it says we don't care how many years you've been practicing or we don't care if this is the first time you've practiced notice how you feel and give your body what it needs whether it's a gentle practice which in my opinion is not easy being teaching gentle and restorative yoga practices and believe me not everyone gets it then everyone gets it the first time but if you keep doing it and you do get it so it's not necessarily a beginner's practice just to go to a gentle class so yeah so basically what Kerr Paulo does is says how do you feel and how do you want to feel right how do you feel right now what's the state of your mind in your body right now does it need a vigorous practice of does it need to break us do you need to break a sweat does it need to be moderate or do you need to slow down a little bit and go to a gentle practice and so or if you're really gentle and you want to keep stayed in that level of gentleness and taking care of yourself then keep doing that so it's very it's not just available it's also really empowering to allow yourself to say this is what I'm giving my body this is what I'm giving to my mind and yeah so that's one one of the little aspects of core power yoga that I've been that I've been really blessed to have been able to explore for a long time and that keep going back to you know it keeps fluctuating it keeps fluctuating one day I need this one day I need something else excuse me maybe not just one day might be like an entire week that I need to calm down and do gentle soft slow movements and there might be another week that I need to go for a run one day and then the other day go for a bike ride and then have a vigorous yoga practice and feel like I am a little bit more alive so not more alive more energized maybe or like the mind needs a lot more to put out in the body so the body anything that happens in the body again correlates to what's happening in the mind so yeah so that's a little bit that's what I wanted to share with you guys and what we do in our classes here at the castle and rockaway is would pretty much combine the three especially in the morning classes like Sunday mornings I very energetic Tuesday mornings are pretty energetic too we have more of a moderate to vigorous flow and then when we go to like the afternoon classes for now it's on Tuesdays Tuesday afternoon evenings some more - like moderate to gentle and then we have the restorative classes that are very gentle and more meditative than well they're all hopefully they're all meditative but these are more um in a very silent stillness exploration so yeah there you go forget about strength and weakness forget about beginners and expertise and all the rest give your body what it needs and explore have a wonderful day
