The word yogi is thrown around a lot, but what does it ACTUALLY mean? Who qualifies to be yogi? What do you have to DO to become a yogi? And what does it mean to be not just a teacher, but a yoga ACHARYA? We will answer all these questions in today's episode, plus take a look at the original yogic texts. We also share our experience living the full yogic lifestyle in India.

Kundalini Yogini & Blissful Athlete team up to talk all things authentic yoga! If you are interested in learning yoga from its source, you have come to the right place. After living and training in India for multiple years under an Enlightened Avatar, this married couple aims to bring awareness of the roots of yoga within Hinduism and dive deep into this sacred, spiritual practice of Divine connection.

Prasiddhananda and Dridhananda are ordained Nithyananda Yoga Acharyas, specializing in the original ancient Shastanga yoga from Shiva. They lived in India the past 2 years studying yoga directly under a living Enlightened Avatar, Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam. During that time, they led multiple teacher trainings, yoga programs for thousands of people, and took part in 2 Guinness World Records in the field of yoga. They are currently living in Los Angeles.
