Hello friends welcome to Raja Prana house we are going to make kitcheny today for for lunch and um here's the ingredients we have one cup of rice one cup of M Nal M we have one onion one potato and uh one cup of suti lilva you can use feel free to use mixed vegetables or peas or mixed uh bell peppers you you can add any vegetables of your choice okay and then we have some spices here Hing and uh that's called ESO Fida Himalayan salt pepper some fener Greek seeds jira and then just the normal uh spices like chili powder Hy we're going to wash the [Music] do we wash the dll and we let it soak for half an hour we also going to wash the rice one bowl of rice here some cool water let's just rinse this rice now okay so just like we did the D we're going to do the same thing and going to get all the dirt and the dust out and then this is going to soaked as well we have a Papi Lila here or you can be a Frozen P just going to since it's frozen I'm just going to quickly rinse that as well go I have already washed uh one potato I'm going to leave the skin and just going to make some bite siiz pieces and they don't have to be any certain size but this is what I like by size and here here's one red onion um just friends remember you can uh put this in your garden in uh when you can uh compost it so instead of throwing it in the trash I like to take all the vegetable skins and uh save that for for the earth to make nice uh sorry this Lely now what I'm going to do is I'm going to use a a machine I have here it's a manual one all just chop the onion in so now that we have already washed the doll uh we going to add some oil this is avocado oil we're going to start roasting our onion and potato so here's the oil and I'll start with some Ry it's a rice mustard seeds then I have some miy seeds and then I have some Gira seeds right here okay and a little bit of Hing here's the Hing it's it's not necessary sorry that you put this but I like it as s OFA I think that's the English name okay and a pinch of salt just because um I don't know I always put a little salt it helps the onion cook faster here's some onions sauté [Music] onion nice and flavorful we'll put a little bit of cinnamon in there for Taste onion get little bit cinnamony and brown all right now that we have some the onions have started to uh become Brown a little bit at this point I'll go ahead and add the potatoes and we'll go ahead and add the rest of the ingredients so here's the rice the wash rice previously washed just put it all in here comes the D this was washed and soaked about half an hour and everything's in here in one pot it's like a meal one meal in one pot a whole me has vegetables rice the Dal Dal which is all the grains it's all in here now so I'm going to add a teaspoon of salt so here is I use himal and salt so here's about a teaspoon of salt so do your salt to your taste okay if you're using less you put a little less I like to use pepper it's good for d I and of course this is healthy in all Indian food we always put turmeric this is good for inflammation uh it is super like an antioxidant it's a beautiful spice it's a king of all spices I'm stirring everything together everything's coming together really well kind of like you can say like a resoto rice as you can see a lot of ingredients in there you can do less you can do more more right here you can even put broccoli cauliflower really it's it's up to you I'm going to turn the heat down to medium I just want to make sure I get all my spices in I am putting a little bit of chili powder I like it now feel free here to use even green jalapenos crushed but I'm putting some red chili powder garam masala here at the end cilantro I love cilantro now this is optional if you don't like it you don't have to I just love the green the greens I I love cilantro spinach since I had two two total bowls of uh rice and um the total amount was two bowls I put six bowls of water okay you can see it's covered all the ingredients is covered I just added a little bit of jira powder uh chili powder pepper all of that in my kiter I like my kiter nice and spicy no more than 15 minutes and it'll be done we have 15 minutes we'll make a delicious Blended uh drink called chash uh this is just simply some uh cumin powder that's roasted cumin uh with a little bit of salt and and a fresh mint leaves uh you can also use fresh cilantro I had I put both this time a little small piece of um jalapeno and fresh cilantro water some ice you blend it and it's ready to go here comes the yogurt add um literally like about a whole cup full of yogurt and freshly it's fine tastes the same uh here comes some water uh some nice filtered water little bit ice ready to serve [Music] oh [Music]
