Transcript

hey everyone Irene lion here so recently I was reviewing practicums from some of my senior students and they had to guide one of their peers through a basic neurosensory exercise and what I've been seeing because some of them this is the second time they've done this I'm starting to see little glimmers of true authentic personality as opposed to what they think they should sound like because they're guiding someone through something that we could say is quote unquote a healing exercise I am a big believer that we should ditch the yoga voice the meditation voice the soft voice where we linger our words and just speak the way we would normally speak so if you are someone who teaches and you want to bring trauma informed and we could say nervous system informed qualities to your teaching start just teaching from how you would normally talk
