here's how you can gain flexibility as fast as possible this study says you need five minutes divided over a week per stretch so if you want your splits hold for as close as you can for five minutes a week the only problem is that this study shows that holding a stretch for a full minute has the same outcome as holding a stretch for 30 seconds so what's the solution 30 second sets so all you have to do is hold for 30 seconds rest for 30 seconds hold for 30 more seconds and if you do that five days a week you hit the necessary five minutes per week but the only problem with that is you're just building passive flexibility and well that's not necessarily a bad thing but it does mean that you'll potentially have useless noodles for limbs so let's talk about how we can fix that next video Stay flexy
