Transcript

I want to talk to you about something very crucial in the practice of kundalini yoga and the understanding of yoga itself and life itself. It's something that not many people are aware about. It's something called the ida and the pingala. When you breathe at no point of time when you're breathing equal in both the nostrils the one either the left or the right is going to be more dominant. When you are more dominant from your left breathing, it means your is active, which means your moon energy is more active. And if you're breathing more active from the right hand side, it means it's your pingala that is more active and your sun energy. Now, how this science you as a normal human being use in your normal day-to-day life? I'm going to show you three parts of using this very important science. One is when you are eating your food, your pingala, your sun energy has to be active. What you need when you're eating your food is a very strong agni, the digestive power. And if your moon energy is more active, that's not going to happen. Before eating, check if you are active on your right side, the pingala or not. That's the first way you use this. The second thing is when you're sleeping, you need your moon energy to be more active. If your sun is very active at that time, you're not going to get good sound restful sleep. Make sure that when you are sleeping, your is active, your moon energy is active, and then you go to sleep. And the third thing that I use, which is really a big secret and not many people know about is when you leave the house, check which energy is active, whether your is active or your pingal is active. And whatever is active, the first step that you put outside your house should be the same foot of the active nostril. So if my pingala is active, I will put my right foot forward first while stepping out of the house. And if my is active, I'll put my left foot and I step out of the house. In the next video, I will share with you how to activate your or the pingala according to what your requirement for that time is. It's really important science. Learn it, understand it, use it. Send that up.
