Dr S. Ajit (B.A.M.S, P.C.A.S) graduated as an Ayurvedic Charya from the Government Ayurvedic College Patiala (GAC Patiala) Punjabi University. He has worked selflessly as a Government Ayurvedic Medical Officer. He is a leader in the field of Ayurveda and a Panchakarma specialist, clinician and has also worked as an Ayurvedic pharmacy inspector in order to uphold and promote the Ayurvedic science in its traditional state.Dr. Ajit is the founding director of Ayurda Wellness and is known for his passion towards Ayurveda and highly respected by his clients for his in-depth logical Ayurvedic interpretation and his ability to correlate Ayurvedic Principles with Western Medicine. In addition to all this Dr. Ajit, is working hard to uphold the traditional Ayurvedic Science in its original form and working towards creating high standards of education and practice of Ayurveda in the western world.He is the founding patron of Australasian Ayurvedic Practitioners Association (Australia & New Zealand) and the President of the International Council of Ayurvedic Medicine (the body outside India for creating uniform standards of Ayurveda in the West). The New Zealand health industry awarded him with lifetime achievement award in recognition for pioneering and establishing Ayurvedic Medicine in New Zealand.

hello everyone my name is dr. Ajit from Planet Ayurveda and I'm an addict doctor 21st June has been dedicated to yoga as an International Day by our Indian government I would like to congratulate everyone on this occasion that at least at last we have recognized our heritage and our philosophy and value by our own people and given the opportunity to the whole world to understand the value of yoga in our own life for our well-being and as we all know that we try to do various kind of our effort to live healthy or be in a state that we can minimize our diseases because we can't afford to be ill in our present lifestyle where it is hectic busy and have to do so much in a short time that's what we all are thriving for and we look different ways of living healthy all the time either some people will try to run 5 kilometers a day or someone try to look look for drinking 3 liter of water for well-being or someone might eat only organic salad or some try to fight with the machine in the gym all different ways are fine everyone whatever suits but our ancient teachers and seers has given us this valuable practice of yoga which is not just only limited to the asana but it is in a way of life and it helped us to sustain our mind body soul component of wellness in its totality but one thing I would like to share here while we are trying to talk about the yoga unfortunately if we are only going to limit it to the asanas which is only a one part of yoga and not look at the other principles of the eight limbs of yoga and not follow the Yeman numa's of yoga philosophy then we just wasting our goes effort unfortunately this yoga has been like that a limited form of exercise in our Western world and in this time frame I would like to share that this is not something we should limit ourselves look at what are the other components and how those components help us to embrace the wellness and that is why the role of highway that comes alongside because yoga and I way that came from the same region and yoga and Ayurveda has been a part of our these all ancient Sears in a natural way which is not the case in our present world those people who follow yoga if they look at their lifestyle look at the state of mind which will be far away from that wellness what we are looking for and thriving for but if someone able to understand the principle of yoga and Ayurveda they can live in a much more better way and achieve our ultimate goal and this yoga and Ayurvedic philosophy when they go hand to hand they can play in a bigger role in giving us that positive society which we all are look working towards and want to and minimize the all the problems what we are suffering from today thanks everyone
