how does one meditate can you as a teacher give this it's a basic overview how does one perform transcendental so it's done sitting in a chair eyes closed 20 minutes twice a day okay and that's it uh you did 20 minutes twice a day you take a little time to go in a little time coming out and the rest of the day you do your normal daily activity okay the effect of TM lasts throughout the day okay so it makes you more able to withstand the stresses of the day make better decisions through the day the day goes easier then you get home you meditate again it kind of rejuvenate you so that's the way the practice is you don't do before bed you do it kind of in the evening time and then you don't go to sleep immediately I believe yeah you you do it usually before your evening meal
