Before and after yoga one should take care of the food. Food is a very important component an yoga if you want to do yoga form the morning the preparation should starts for the night itself. From the night, the food should be light if you take heavy food at night, and if you want to do good practice in the morning it will not happen. So yoga practice needs the light stomach, and light abdomen and it is not that you have taken heavy food, and lot of acidic food that creates the inflammation and you cannot practice yoga with the mindfulness and for the mindfulness one should take care of the food like before yoga it is advised that the stomach need 3 and a half hour to remove the food from the stomach, it needs 3 hours from the stomach to the small intestine. So if the food is there in the stomach you will not be able to practice yoga. So definitely before 3 and half hours you should finish the food and food should be very light, it should be easy to digest and the yogic food should be the cooked food, the roti, you can take any vegetables you can take ghee, milk, curd, and after the yoga is very important. once you practice yoga, if you practice all the movements then all the intestines get a proper kind of movements and your hormones are in a balanced state and in that time one should take food which is very healthy. if you take healthy food , you will feel that food gets digested and it gets absorbed in the body .n so what happens most of the time, people has complaints of vitamin B , vitamin D because they get absorbed in the body. So what happens in yoga is if you practice yoga and then if you eat very healthy food, healthy food should be hat after yoga you can take juice, it should not be fried food, it should be cooked food like vegetable, roti, less amount of acidic food, that is advisable before and after yoga. Just after 15 minute after yoga you can eat but 3 and a half hour gap should be there once you start yoga because stomach needs the 3 and a half hour to remove whatever you have before it goes to the large intestine.
