this is the seated side bend this is a really good movement to help open up the lateral side of your body again combat the effect of sitting and being hunched over all day what you do is sitting on the edge of your chair instead of nice and tall and take one hand you're going to reach up the goal with this would be to get your bicep to touch your ears you're not just here we're trying to lengthen this entire side of your body this other hand is going to come down and slide by your thigh so we're here you're gonna breathe in and as you exhale you're gonna lean over towards the side and hold that for three breaths breathing in breathing out breathing in breathing out and then coming back and then switching sides reaching up as high as you can bicep touch the ear this other hand pulls you towards the ground this one pushing you up towards the ceiling leaning towards the side chin stays up without dropping your head breathing three breaths in three breaths out and then repeat left side right side and that is your seated side bend
