Transcript

Decompress your spine and soothe your nervous system with waterfall pose. You'll come onto your back and I'm using a block for this. You can also try this against a wall. Block is going to be on the flat horizontal side. Lift your hips up. Slide the block underneath so that your sacrum is comfortably resting on the block. From here, reach your feet up to the sky. Knees can be soft. Feet relaxed. Arms down by your sides. Palms are up. And that is all there is to it. Now, as we're doing this, again, the spine is decompressing. It's very passive. It's helping reverse the flow of gravity and letting the legs and the entire body completely relax. It's very normal to feel like there's quicksand moving down the legs. The feet might feel tingly as well, but just let your body release and recharge here. When you are ready to come out of this, start by bending your knees into your chest, noticing how that feels. Lower your feet down and then gently lift the block. Slide it out and release.
