Well, who DOESN'T like an extra long, super relaxing savasana at the end of their Yoga practice? Traditionally we take savanna (corpse pose) for five minutes at the end of a practice, but today I want you to kick back and relax for a full ten minutes.
Also handy if you just want to take ten minutes to reboot on a busy day!

bring yourself down onto your back making sure that you feel completely comfortable maybe wiggling the hips down a little further away from your back or drawing the shoulders down away from your ears turning your palms to face the sky and allowing your legs and your feet to fall out just take a moment to watch your body notice how you're feeling right now and now take a nice deep breath in through your nose to your belly and open your mouth exhale to let it go [Music] taking this time now for your body to fully relax to reconnect to the ground to allow you to become focused centered grounded watching the rise in the fall of your belly with your breath being mindful of the breath mindful of your body feeling the ground underneath your body and for a moment noticing the points of your body which are most heavily connected to the ground right now relaxing the muscles in your face relaxing the space between your eyebrows relax your cheeks unclench your teeth to relax your jawline and allow your tongue to gently move away from the roof of your mouth feel the back of your head connect to the ground relaxing down through your neck feeling the back of your shoulder blades and your shoulders connect to the ground relax your chest relax your arms your hands your fingers relaxing down through each vertebrae of your spine to the base of your back relaxing your abdominals and just being aware of the gentle rise and fall of your belly feeling the connection that the back of your pelvis and your glute muscles have with the ground relaxing your hips your thighs your knees and feeling the connection that your calf muscles have with the ground relaxing down through your shins to your ankles your feet your toes feeling the heels of your feet ground you being aware now of the balance between feeling grounded i'm feeling light allowing each inhalation to promote lightness feeling each exhalation ground you and for the next few minutes allowing the stillness in your body to encourage stillness and space in your mind remaining present with your breath and present in the moment gently start to breathe awareness back to your physical body as your breath begins to deepen start to wiggle your fingers and your toes maybe gently rocking your head from side to side and now stretching your arms up over here to take a really nice deep breath in stretching from your fingers to your feet and now slowly bend your knees bring your feet to the ground and slowly begin to roll over onto one side just resting there for a moment maybe using your arm to support your head and now keeping your eyes closed slowly not [Music] your available drop down away from your ears and bring your hands together a heart center in a prayer position just taking a moment to observe and now gently power your head down to your hands namaste you
