if you're struggling with scanda then here's a few ways that you can modify and progress towards it if you're struggling to go all the way down then come up and go halfway and you can work the posture from here and then progress gradually seeing if you can take it further down towards here if your heel is lifting then Place something underneath it it could be a blanket it could be a pillow to provide more support focus on spinning the back foot open so you can press your heel into the mat for more stability if you feel like you are rocking too far forwards when really we want the chest to be lifted and we want to be leaning back and practice with a wall behind you and try to sit up and press your hips against the wall this will encourage you to lift your chest and to have your center of mass back over your heels instead of forwards where you might be rocking forwards
