Essential Exercises
1. Wrist Circles
Extend arms forward. Make slow circles with wrists - 10 clockwise, 10 counterclockwise. Keep movements smooth.
2. Prayer Stretch
Press palms together at chest, fingers pointing up. Slowly lower hands while keeping palms pressed. Hold 30 seconds.
3. Finger Spreads
Spread fingers wide, hold 5 seconds. Make tight fist, hold 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times.
4. Wrist Flexor Stretch
Extend arm, palm up. Use other hand to gently press fingers toward floor. Hold 30 seconds. Switch sides.
5. Wrist Extensor Stretch
Extend arm, palm down. Gently press back of hand toward forearm. Hold 30 seconds. Switch sides.
6. Thumb Stretches
Extend thumb away from fingers. Circle thumb in both directions. Gently stretch thumb across palm.
Yoga Poses for Wrist Relief
- Modified plank on forearms or fists
- Table pose with wrist variations
- Cow face arms (Gomukhasana) for shoulder-wrist connection
- Eagle arms (Garudasana) for upper body opening
