Common Voice Issues

Breathing Practices

1. Ujjayi Breath (Ocean Breath)

Slightly constrict back of throat. Breathe through nose, creating soft "ocean" sound. 5-10 minutes. Strengthens and warms throat.

2. Brahmari (Bee Breath)

Inhale fully. Exhale while humming like a bee. Feel vibration in throat and head. 5-10 rounds. Deeply soothing.

3. Lion's Breath (Simhasana)

Inhale deeply. Open mouth wide, extend tongue, exhale with "HA" sound. Eyes wide. Releases all throat tension.

4. Chanting OM

Sound "AUM" - feel each syllable resonate in different areas. A in belly, U in chest, M in head/throat. Powerful vibration therapy.
