About Gomukhasana, also known as Cow-face Yoga is a hip-opening posture stretching the shoulder, arms, knees, and ankles. This is the best asanas for people suffering from a slouch and improper posture due to a hectic work week. By extending the hamstring and gluteal muscles and promoting a sense of relaxation in the legs, this position helps to relieve leg cramps. Gomukhasana can help to stretch the back muscles, which can ease back pain and fatigue.

To perform Gomukhasana , Sit with your back straight and keep both the feet together while placing the palms on the hips. Now fold the left leg and gently place it under the right buttock while bringing the right leg over the left high. Finally, stack both the knees closely over one another.
