Instructions

The Gomukhasana (Cow Face Yoga Pose) posture looks like the face of a cow from above as the feet resemble the horns and knees resemble the mouth. Place both feet on the ground, putting them on either side of the bottom, and hold the body erect. Raise the arm and bend the elbow and interlock with another arm at the back.

The Gomukhasana posture stretches buttock muscles and opens the chest. It also extends the latissimus dorsi.

Yoga is an essential part of India’s ancient tradition of holistic living. The Art of Living, in association with Kent Health Care Products, presents to you the goodness of yoga through the series, ‘Yogic Fitness - An Introduction to Holistic Living’.
