welcome to back to bel yoga I'm back to Bell and here we Copeland yoga studio once again thanks to the generosity of the owner jim sund we've checked us out here in town beautiful space lovely place to practice so today's mini vinyasa is something that I'm calling this is a bit of a tongue twister and Colliers dynamics how face pose arms so if you're familiar with healthy because there's a certain thing we do sitting on the ground their legs but you can do this sitting cross-legged you standing them there demonstrate today is we're really focusing on the upper body this is a really great way to work on the mobility of the shoulder joints it does strengthen some muscle groups and stretch other muscle groups so you'll want to know that it's a really great combination of those two qualities for the upper body so because we're only going to go in and every crease you're not going to try and make a class behind your back or having strata belong to although I highly encourage you to practice that static version after you've done the dynamic if you feel like so here we go we'll go through slowly at first and then we'll take it a little more quickly so just do a little playful thing of your arms here and just bend one elbow up and point the other forearm down and then just switch that going to the other side a little bit like scarecrow arms and then come back to the first side of Han and second stop yeah you don't have two meses a time is with your breathless just getting a little feeling of those shoulders turning in and out a little bit okay so that's a great way to kind of get ready for what we're going to do next which is the actual cow face pose arms okay so in a lingua down and up and up your side as you exhale the right arm is going to go up and bend and the fingertips touch the shoulder the bottom i'm just going to bend down and swim the hand a little bit behind the back don't worry about taking that very high and then inhale arms back up to the side as you exhale the left arm is going to go up in and touch the right arm is going to spin in and up behind the back and reach the elbows away from one another commencing and then exhale down we've had it a little more rhythmic pace now so inhaling exhale right arm on top left arm on bottom inhale out exhale left arm on top right arm on bottom email out and extra yards down let's repeat that India arms float up exhale the right arm is the top arm electrode at the bottom are you coming out exhale left arm on top or their bond reach the elbows away from one another inhale stretch out and exhale down let's do it one more time looking good inhale exhale right on the top arm inhaling out exhale left arm is the top arm inhaling out and exhaling down I think one more round is in order inhale the arms come up exhale spinning left under the bottom arm and I'm coming out exhaling right arm is the bottom arm you have come out and exhale and release I usually find it doing a little movement of my arm shake a mess or rolling the shoulders was really good after that because I can really feel the muscles that we're working hard there to help me strengthen and move into that posture and they can also feel area that we're stretching the different parts of the shoulders as i was doing it as well so again great combination for the upper body that's it dynamics how face pose arms is our mini vinyasa of the week please follow me on baxter delcom my website on my blog site logo for healthy aging and don't forget i have longer practices available to you on the package channel at the website yoga you online calm until the next time not safe
