Sometimes the simplest tip can skyrocket a yoga pose to the next level. Just remember nothing happens overnight, there's no magic pill. Consistency is key! It's also a wonderful modification to use when you are cued to do seated forward fold to help make the pose accessible and comfortable.
For accountability, you could take a photo of your forward fold now and then again after a few weeks of practice to see how far you've come. Hamstring flexibility takes time so be patient, for some, it will take days. For others weeks or even months before seeing and feeling huge progress. And that's OK, your practice, body and mind are worth the effort and dedication.

once your forward fold to stop looking like this and looking a little more like this then here's a great hack that you can add into your practice sitting up tall with your knees bent grab the outside edges of your feet press your belly towards your thighs and pull your shoulders Back start to slide the feet forwards when you feel a stretch then stop as long as your belly is still making contact with your thighs keep this going for a couple of days weeks however long it takes and then eventually you may straighten the legs completely with the thighs still making contact
