Transcript

hi do you struggle with high stress you likely have high cortisol levels that keep you in this place of hyperactive or overactive stress when we feel this level of high cortisol in the body because we've been programmed and designed to kind of f follow this cyclical pattern then we're up here we're anxious we're on the go we are thinking and doing and checking off things of our checklist and constantly being over stimulated and with an influx of thoughts and a really difficult ability to get to Stillness and we need to counteract that when you are up here in that hypoarousal state then that is a signal that you're out of your window of Tolerance and to get back in you can widen your window or you can also engage in strategies to get you back into the window and that comes in two ways coping by utilizing breathing techniques or exercise journaling talking to someone or really getting to the heart of what is or the root of what is stimulating this cycle keeping this cycle going and that likely happened in early childhood so much of what we experien it uh today is a product of things that occurred from those early ages from from a significant event or from continual uh developmental patterns and that doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with you really so much is right with you but that comes from a place of understanding of self and to get there it's slowing down the mind it's engaging with your body it's being open to those experiences moving through the emotion instead of trying to cope or manage it and that comes from being able to be with your body and when we're up here we may do things for our body but that doesn't mean we're really being with it that doesn't mean we're really experiencing what is occurring inside and so taking that hyperactivity that overstimulation that high cortisol level and bringing it down is one of the first place to start this is an up or this is a bottom up approach instead of a top down approach roach getting out of the thinking mind and into the root causes starting from the ground up being able to come down and lay down being able to sit with yourself and restorative therapeutic yoga is one safe way to do that so thank you so much for listening uh I love knowledge and learning and gathering this information I am much of a thinker as so many of you I'm also as much of a feeler but really some of that was happening on the surface level instead of deep within and it took me engaging in these practices myself to fully experience the benefits and I want that for all of you you amaze me
