How to

  1. Begin in Side Crow Pose (Parsva Bakasana), with your knees bent and your right arm pressing against your left thigh.
  2. Place your left hand firmly on the mat, shoulder-width apart, fingers spread wide for stability.
  3. Shift your weight onto your left arm, lifting your hips and engaging your core muscles.
  4. Slowly extend your right leg up towards the ceiling, keeping your toes pointed and your leg engaged.
  5. Lower your left cheek gently towards the mat, maintaining balance and control.
  6. Keep your gaze (drishti) towards your extended foot to help with balance.
  7. Hold for a few breaths, maintaining steady inhales and exhales.
  8. To exit, carefully bring your right leg back down, returning to Side Crow, then release to a seated position.
