Begin in Warrior III Pose (Virabhadrasana III) with your right leg as the standing leg, extending your left leg back and your torso parallel to the ground.
Bring your left hand to your left hip as you stabilize your balance.
Bend your left knee to bring your left heel toward your buttocks.
Reach your right hand back to grasp the outer edge of your left foot or ankle.
Engage your core and quadriceps to maintain balance and stability.
On an inhale, gently press your foot into your hand to open your chest and create an arch in your back. Extend your left arm forward for balance.
Keep your gaze (drishti) forward or slightly upward, maintaining steady breath throughout the pose.
To exit, release your left foot, extend your leg back into Warrior III, and then lower your left foot to meet your right.
