welcome this is a quick five minute morning yoga full body stretch you can do to feel your best mentally and physically throughout the day we'll begin in any comfortable seat that works for you we'll inhale the hands up overhead exhale side stretch towards your left inhale the hands reach up exhale side stretch towards your right inhale hands reach up exhale twisting towards your left sit tall as you inhale and as you exhale softening the shoulders next inhale hands reach up exhale twisting towards your right once again lengthen as you inhale exhale soften the shoulders inhale the hands back up exhale hands to heart center while releasing just finding some organic movement here circling the waist maybe rocking side to side [Music] we'll sit tall and just circling the head maybe rocking the head side to side feeling out all the clicks and ticks and we'll come back to center sitting tall making a fist with each hand just circling the wrists again just feeling out all the clicks and ticks here release and we'll come to our knees sitting the hips towards the heels forehead or cheek to the mat for child's pose option here to place pillows between the hips and heels and underneath the torso for added height you can even take the knees a little further apart for a wide leg child's pose if that feels best today drawing the breath into the chest and as you exhale softening the shoulders the arms let the hands be heavy trying the breath into the belly expanding the lower back as you inhale and as you exhale softening the hips the ankles and the feet we'll gently release coming into a tabletop pose wrists under shoulders knees under hips inhale dropping the belly take your gaze up cow pose exhale rounding through the spine take your gaze down for cat continue singing breath with movement as you exhale send the hips towards your heels inhale rounding through the spine all the way down to your belly so a little bit of a flow there resting on the forearms elbows in line with the shoulders inhale as you lift through the sternum gentle back bend tucking the tailbone maybe even begin to find a gentle sway gazing over one shoulder and then over the other come back to center tucking the toes sending the hips up for down dog feel free to keep a generous bend in the knees just taking a moment here pressing the mat away from your hands and feet be strong find a bit of strength within the entire body feeling that warmth happening on your next inhale stepping to the top of the mat coming right into your half lift flat back come up as high as you need exhale take your fold option to bend the knees inhale come to standing hands reach up exhale heart center inhale last time reach the hands back up exhale heart center thank you so much for joining namaste if you enjoyed this video don't forget to like it below and
