Transcript

if you're getting a lot of wrist pain when you're practicing yoga here's a few things you can do instead of having your hands flat where there's a lot of extension through the wrists Place something underneath the heels of your hands it doesn't have to be a block like this it could be a blanket just something to decrease the amount of extension through the wrists secondly this one's really important instead of having your hands flat like a pancake focus on spidering your hands so you want to press down with each fingertip and the heel of your hand and you want a little lift underneath the Palm just underneath the knuckle bed having hands like this will give you much more stability another great thing you can do is to focus on sending the rest into deeper extension and then pushing the floor away so bring your shoulders past your wrists and hang out here a few breaths and then come back try to practice this as much as you can in your warm-ups to strengthen the wrists
