Transcript

you can't practice yoga in your first trimester this is a complete lie there is absolutely no reason why you can't continue or start a yoga practice in your first trimester keeping in mind that you are likely feeling quite nauseous and you might need specific practices like saali breath to help cool the body down and stop you from vomiting now is not the time to be challenging your body you are literally growing a human from scratch so your practice should reflect that and you should be directing your energy to your body and to your growing baby you can still lie on the belly during the first trimester if it's comfortable for you which for many of us it isn't and in that case you can modify any prone poses by bringing them to the knees instead if you'd like to learn more about teaching or practicing pregnancy yoga safely I have created a free mini course for you you can find the link in the bio or comment an emoji on this video and I'll send it to you
