Gurudev how to maintain the motivation when you know everything is anyways going to end? there are two attitudes one when you want to retire at that time you should say anyway everything is going to end so you end your day also you rest but when you wake up in the morning you have to see that you have a role to play you have work that's why the ancient people said two Vrittis Pravrutti and Nivrutti in life you need both breathing in and breathing out you can't only breathe out that's it there will be no life if you can't only keep breathing in so that is the balance between Pravrutti and Nivrutti nature has designed such you know you you work for some time and then you rest for some time what we do? when we go when it is time to rest we keep thinking mentally what I should do? I want this I want this I want this I want 101 thing that keeps you away from taking deep rest and when it comes to activity you come up with these philosophy anyway everything is going to end what is the point? what is the use? this is putting wrong knowledge at the wrong place knowledge at the wrong place you are asked to get into the bus then you ask me what is the point? if I have to get down of the bus why should I get into the bus? anyway you have to get out of the bus why should I get into the bus? this question is such an argument you get in somewhere you will get out somewhere just see if you can do if you can be without doing any action? no
you will get restless you will keep doing playing Tabla in the air have you seen people playing Tabla in the air? because they're very restless cymbals they keep cymbals restless agitated you have my dear you have energy you have to utilize it in some way you have to use do some meaningful work you cannot stand without any action at all in life you can take periods
of no action that is meditation but   then you have to keep acting even if
you're not acting your mind will act more so don't misuse the knowledge or
use knowledge wrongly got it? when you   know that everything is going to end
you will be more centered when you   are centered then you act yeah if a
flower thinks anyway I will wither   away if a bud thinks anyway I'll blossom and then what? I'll wither away why should I blossom? let me wither away now itself doesn't make sense does it make sense? yeah Gurudev why do worrying thoughts don't fade away quickly? and why do happy thoughts don't sustain? just a habit you can turn that habit around are all karmas settled to null if you are completely indifferent towards someone? do karmas operate only in the space of cravings and aversions? don't worry too much about karma it is pointless in analyzing karma Lord Krishna in Gita says गहना कर्मणो गतिः gahanā karmaṇo gatiḥ [Bhagavad Gita 4.17] the ways of karma are unfathomable so don't waste your time analyzing which karma is doing what and all that stuff you go to a garbage dump yard and start analyzing which garbage is from which day what do anybody do that?
