Restorative · beginner
How to
- Begin by lying on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
- Bring the soles of your feet together and allow your knees to gently fall open to the sides, forming a diamond shape with your legs.
- Place your arms at a comfortable angle alongside your body, palms facing up to open the chest.
- If needed, place a bolster or folded blanket under each knee for support to prevent overstretching.
- Close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath, allowing it to be natural and steady.
- Maintain a soft gaze at the space between your eyebrows if eyes remain open.
- To exit the pose, use your hands to gently guide your knees back together, roll to one side, and press yourself up to a seated position.
