hey everyone welcome to bad Yogi Q&A Wednesday with me Aaron MTZ and this is where I answer your questions that you send to me via social media or email or anything like [Music] that so today's question actually comes from Tatiana and she writes hey Erin I'm really new to yoga and I noticed that a lot of yogis are either vegan or vegetarian is this the correct way of eating when I have this yoga lifestyle or is another way that I should be focusing on I think that's a great question and it's definitely one that a lot of people have especially coming into yoga as a newbie it's true that veganism and vegetarianism is kind of all over the place in that world it is not the only right way the way that we're made up will respond differently to different foods maybe you can digest certain things that others can't vice versa it really depends if being vegan or vegetarian sounds like something you really want to try out definitely go for it there's no harm in that at all Converse if you're eating everything under the sun and you really do want to make some changes you can totally start small you don't have to go cold turkey and go vegan dairy free gluten- free everything all at once you can make small changes to keep those little things more digestible than just overhauling your entire life all at once if you typically start the day off with something that's really high in sugar even if it's like sweetened yogurt with granola and juice and coffee with creamer in there try just replacing the creamer with almond milk or any other kind of milk that's non-da when you go out for lunch with co-workers instead of getting a burger and fries replace the fries with a salad these changes can be really small do them in a way that you feel like is accessible for you more importantly sustainable for you as well so there you have it Q&A Wednesday now make sure you invite a friend to join the bad Yogi Club for free yoga classes more Q&A like this and a bunch of other fun stuff and I'll see you right back here for class on Monday looking for help to get your diet back on track check out the bad cleanse kit 10 days over 30 recipes and a yoga class for each day specially designed to complement your new healthy lifestyle head over to courses. bad Yogi official.com to get yours
