Reverse Gate Pose Category: Arm Leg Support / Lateral Bend Difficulty: Beginner Description From Box, one leg is extended back with the outside edge of the foot gripping the earth. The top arm (on the same side of the body as the extended leg) is extended overhead to create a long side body stretch. The supporting leg is bent and the foot and the knee are angled out for balance. The supporting arm is straight and in line with the extended arm with the joints stacked. The tailbone is down to protect the lumbar spine and the gaze is up.
