In Ayurvedic medicine, the pitta dosha are the most athletic build and most ambitious of all the doshas. When out of balance, their ambition can turn to aggression and anger. In this video I am going to share with you the 10 mistakes that pitta dosha should avoid. This video will include lifestyle tips, advice for diet for pitta dosha including what foods pitta should avoid and what foods pitta should eat. I will also talk about the best yoga for pitta dosha including poses and types of yoga that pitta dosha should absolutely not skip.

if you're a pitted OSHA you have or you have a friend who's a pitta dosha then you're going to love this video because in the rest of this video I'm going to share with you the top 10 mistakes pitted OSHA's should avoid hi I'm Alyssa I teach real yoga for real people lots of yin yoga restorative yoga yin yang yoga and sleep yoga on my main channel and here I answer lots of questions that you have about yoga and this month we are talking about the doshas in our membership community this month we are doing an Ayurvedic morning routine to balance your doshas and I will put a link to that in the show notes if you would like daily support for your Ayurvedic routine so what are the top 10 things that pitta dosha should avoid number one no hot yoga pitted OSHA's main element is fire so if you stick a pitta dosha in the hot yoga room you're going to add fire to fire and this creates an imbalance for pitta dosha making them more prone to impatience temper flares and irritability number two avoid spicy food or don't overdo it so remember that part of pitta dosha is all about fire so adding spicy food to put his amazing digestive fires you're kind of asking for trouble you may experience heartburn or acid reflux and if you do eat spicy food then you can balance it out with coconut water or mango lassis number three don't overdo it with nightshade vegetables such as tomatoes eggplants peppers potatoes these can upset pitta dosha this fiery digestive system number four don't keep reaching for that coffee story if it is we know you love your stimulants but coffee is over stimulating for you and it can add to an already acidic environment in your digestive system an increase of symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux you could try matcha tea which has less caffeine or a coffee alternative like Danny blend instead number 5 don't skip those cooling foods eat mint melon fennel cucumber coconut water leafy green salads of raw foods now well Ayurveda recommends most people eat cooked foods pitted OSHA's have such strong digestive systems they're the one dosha that can eat the salad and raw foods as much as they want so enjoy number 6 avoid garlic and onions not only can this overstimulate you're already fantastically healthy digestive system but it can all also add aggression to your propensity towards anger number 7 don't forget to breathe all that excess fire and pitta dosha can cause them to get hot under the collar they can experience things like emotional outbursts but also that fire and heat rises in the body and you may also experience acne now when you find yourself getting impatient and irritable and angry take a deep breath and give yourself a moment to cool down number 8 don't forget to take breaks pitted dominant Constitution tapes types can be incredibly ambitious they can be so focused on achieving their goals that they forget to take time to enjoy life it can be really helpful for pitts us to spend time resting by the water or sitting in the cool breeze and the shade of the woods and letting go of their ambition number 9 don't skip your flexibility training petty dosha tends to be quite athletic but also tight in their hips remember to take time for practices like yin yoga which will focus on the hips and deeper mobility of the tissues number 10 don't skip meals pitta dosha has the strongest digestive fire of all the doshas and he will regret it if you go too long between meals eat up hypnotia now if you made it all the way to the end of this video then give yourself a thumbs up and put my pitta dosha is chilled out in the comments and remember you can join our community this month for our 30-day challenge to balance your Ayurvedic doshas with our Ayurvedic morning routines I'll put the link in the show notes and if you would like my art of 8 o'clock for the best times to practice your daily yoga routines then go to melissa west comm / clock and I will send that right to your inbox namaste
