Child's Pose is probably borrowed from yoga. Some teachers call it resting pose, to differentiate it from yoga. Either way, it's a wonderful place to rest in a challenging mat class, or to direct the breath into a specific body part.

[Music] [Applause] [Music] to come into Child's boats start on hands and knees and bring the big toes together behind you so your lower legs are angling towards one another and then from here sit back onto your heels if that's comfortable that's possible and then relax your torso down onto your thighs and reach your arms forward your forehead is resting on the mat [Music] [Applause] you [Music]
