[Music] Namaskar seventh step of yoga is called as odd or meditation dr. protect Anita the Arnim one even flow very smooth even flow when you take an oil and start pouring pouring slowly the whole line is just no cut in between flow that's how our mind should be when we do pranayama then what happens is that she at a Prakash Harbor animal that happens that is then the knowledge which is there within it is covered by our animals a curtain available with pranayama that curtain is removed so knowledge is face-to-face now the knowledge is in front now knowledge has to go into our system and that is done through a disciplined mind a mind which picks up the object and is remaining with that object for a long long time without any interruption smooth sailing that has to happen so there are various techniques which would help mind to get trained in this line we have to first select an object which we have selected earlier now that object is external now that object goes internal which is very much into our mind close your eyes sit in any of the meditative pose so that your spine is straight and base is brought sitting in that position just go inwards that object is very much there in your mind now you have to continuously be with that object no other thoughts will disturb you because you have selected that object and you are happy with that object you are comfortable you feel oneness with that object and so you are there over there and stay with that for a long long duration the tirana done for a long time is called as the earth so you train yourself in tirana and then continue for a long period Indian now understand one thing very clearly when people start doing this they are meditation without any background the object which they select can reveal there its strength for sometime in the harana we have selected one object now the object would be candle or the object would be a statue of some God whom we believe in any object now you are continuously staying with that object for a long long time and that is the an now when you are into Jian you should know very well that mine should be totally free from all afflictions all the glaciers are out you are not into attachment or hatred or likes and dislikes you have gone above that you have gone above duality which is there in asanas when you do asanas you definitely go about duality heat and cold right and wrong good and bad tasty no tasty these are dualities you go above that all these things don't bother you your mind is still steady and then mine which steady has to be put for a longer longer time so this entire exercise it's so important person can't jump and say that I will not be doing asana doing not doing pranayam straightaway meditation what will happen you are sitting in meditation and your legs start spinning your back hurts because you are not flexible only you are sitting in meditation and suddenly you get so much and groans that you stopped breathing again there would be a disturbance in your breath you're not trained yourself train your breaths that as you become calmer and calm breath becomes subtler and subtler that subtler breath and sitting with one thought is beautiful and for that the training is required so be very clear now we always hear that I am doing meditation for half an hour or I am doing meditation for one hour but people have to understand that if you are doing meditation have you done yama niyama s-- have you done essence are you following prana have you gone through these steps if no this meditation doing for half an hour or one hour will not benefit you because something or other is going to create problem so learn systematically with patience and slowly slowly a stage will come when person would really enjoy a blissful state namaste [Music] you
