if you have lower back pain there's a good chance that you're sitting in a way that is fueling the problem not making it feel better okay so check your posture right now what do most people do when they have lower back pain they do this right now if you look down here at my pelvis what's happening is I'm completely rounding my spine if I stood up in this position I would literally be sitting standing like this right not good for you so instead of just relaxing into a seated position what you want to do is this you want to sit all the way upright almost to the point where you want to go like pull your butt cheeks out sit all the way up on the tops of your hamstrings once you get this position now come to a nice upright position relax the body drop the ribs down like this and this is the position you want to sit in with good posture to not put that undue strain on the discs of your lower back so practice this it's gonna make your lower back feel so much better okay
