Welcome to my new series - #YogaOfftheMat! As yoga has become so hugely popular, there's a big focus on the physical part of the practice, but a LOT of the rest of yoga gets pushed aside. So in this series we're going to talk about the history of yoga, the reason why we practice, and the way we can expand our yoga practice to move beyond the yoga mat.
Episode 2 is all about the yamas and niyamas. These are the moral guidelines that we should try to observe as yogis - some of them fairly straight forward and others a little more complicated... If you have any questions or if there is something you'd like me to talk about in this series, please leave a comment and I'll get back to you!
