Instructions

Vinyasa yoga is a flowing style of Yoga practice where poses are linked together and synchronized with the breath. The word 'vinyasa' actually means linking movements with breath 馃槉 Often vinyasa classes are slightly faster paced as there are no pauses between the poses but this depends on the teacher as well.

Physically, vinyasa classes can be strong for the upper body as the flows often include several Planks, Chaturangas (Low Planks), and Downward-Facing Dogs. These are included as transition movements in-between the longer held poses.

Overall, Vinyasa yoga is a great practice for full-body strengthening and focusing on the breath. For many people vinyasa classes are like moving medication as the body and mind connect via the breath 馃槉
