How to protect your neck in yoga - Yoga Video

The neck is the part of the spine that gives us great mobility but in yoga (and even movement we do during the day and night), we need to learn how to protect it in a way, from all that mobility. Some of this involves strengthening muscles in the front and back of the neck and some things we can do involves greater awareness around how we hold our head in yoga poses and other things we do during the day (as well as sleep position!) I have a personal story around this that I share here in this video along with tips you can bring into your practice to protect your neck in yoga poses.
