hello everyone welcome to our session on chakras you know what are different chakras and you must have heard how you balance your chakras and what is the significance of chakra joining with me is jc yogi from london live uh right now about different chakras we've already talked about two of the chakras earlier today we're going to talk about manipura chakra here you are good evening from the uk and thank you amitabh for having me with you tonight and welcome yeah to our series of the chakras tonight we're talking about the manipura chakra i'm gonna just go back i'm sitting on my knee when i go back again you can hear me excellent yes so yeah tonight we're going to talk about the third chakra which is sit right at the navel i'm going to stand as well so sit right at the navel and it's associated with the fire element the third chakra is called the manipura sometimes referred to as the city of jewel and it kind of like represent the fire element in our body and in the digestive system as well in the manipura is sometimes we refer to as where the fight or flight this is where we make our kind of like decision based on this kind of like two and also because of this manipura chakra has ten lotus kind of like flower and has a downward pointing triangle in the center and normally down with pointing triangle is associated with the fire and of course the 10 element and then the 10 sorry lotus flower around that chakra it represents actually the fear the anxiety the depression the all of these that what we kind of like the physical body that need for fight or flight mode so it's a great chakra to tap into especially as we move from the first second to the third we're moving upward towards the heart center so the first three chakras they are really associated as our physical being and we move into the heart chakra hopefully next week and we'll talk a bit more so when it comes to the manipura this is really important to focus on the maybe the color yellow the color of the sun and the the beautiful mantra for the this chakra is the bija sound ram and when you kind of like chant around a few times let let your tongue roll and run run and this is a great kind of like force of that energy that we need because we visualize the beautiful sun and then we bring the sun into our own body to release them any digestive system anything that's holding us here because what happened often when we get frustrated we get like something like our tummy get you know we feel this like a cramp in here and then because we're holding so much so tight as well that's what we want to release those aggression maybe frustration and fear and i'm gonna take you to one pranayama quickly and then one man asana is really good for this chakra the pranayama this is the breath of fire an often referred to as the kapalabhati this is really engage your i'm gonna stand so this is gonna see the belly moving and when you breathe the this yama is pumping the body and you go breathing from the nose and this kind of really firing up this digestive system and normally i'll do it like this actually starts it's really good and it helps you firing up this digestive system and of course one of the great pranayama for this as well is the nori as well when we churn the stomach but this one i've just had a little bit into it i'm not gonna be able to do it i will demonstrate it soon at some point and it's a great practice in the morning now this is i'm gonna take the camera slightly lower because i'm gonna sit it a little bit and show you this lovely pause yeah this part so this pose is called a twisted so i'm gonna go sideways you sit left foot or right foot in front is a supine twist it's really good engage our our manipura you hold tight into the knee lengthen to the spine i'm going to twist towards that was the right so this is gonna engage this chakra because we are pressing into the solar plexus to open through the shoulders and through the heart center it's a great asana to cultivate this fire within the abdominal system and abdominal place to help us release any tension and anything that's holding us in this place so marikura is also called a solar chakra right and yes absolutely you said yeah ram is the sound for this chakra yeah so ram is like you chant yes you can you can shine because every chakra has this sound or bija sound and then and we invoke this chakra by chanting the sound ram ram oh all right so i'm standing around you're invoking this chakra that is and it helps you uh kind of calm down how do you yeah connect to this chakra it helped you to bring the level of because remember in this chakra we are really ready to fight we're ready to really goes and like like bring this warrior within us when we chant the ram ram ram ram ram the sound because kind of like looping in your mouth to the tongue it will ground us really and connect us back to the physical being i see i see because this is really important chakra because this is where we start to turn towards the heart yeah yeah if we have any blockage in this chakra you know we cannot move upward we're gonna stay here until we solve it this is amazing i mean the this is you know the science and the philosophy behind this chakras is super super amazing and we discover every day something new with them but definitely it's a very important chakra to really work on and like i say envision that beautiful sun the solar plexus you know this is it's amazing and if you follow any deities as well is this really connected with kali so carly she's a ferocious one she's the one who is like the blaze of fire as well so through kali we tap we we invoke so much into the solar plexus into the okay amazing so three things that i i understand i just want to make sure our viewers understand one is um in by invoking this advice by chanting ram you're an okay that's number one number two you talk about okay so these three things that that one can do easily to really absolutely absolutely and if you can do three of them together that's one after the other you start with chatting around you go to the kapalabhati and you do the supine twist you are really releasing all of these from your solar plexus and you feel elevated and lift ready for your heart and to release through the heart center beautiful beautiful and you recommend doing it in the mornings right that's what you want i recommend them in the morning definitely i recommend it first thing because this is when in the morning we have this fire energy naturally and ready to like burn it off so normally in the evening it's good to be in the summer that's when we start to move upward into the chakra we move towards the more psychic more you know emotional body than the physical body so humans will be kosher as well and through the sheath she's obviously like yeah the body space okay beautiful just beautiful yeah no no thank you so much i know yes uk is closing down so we wish you um peace and and uh health you know for all the of all the people and it's a big day here in u.s as well today is an election day so we'll be thinking of you we're definitely sending our vibe our energy that was you so good luck with everything and it's really important that this chakra is so important to practice today to keep you really grounded and keep you open and ready for everything has happened but yeah amazing thank you so much for joining us you're welcome to send us feedback we'll see you next week same time thank you thank you so much have a good day take care bye
