Instructions

This restorative, relaxation yoga supported twist using a bolster and folded blanket or similar support relieves stress in the back, side and rib muscles and can improve breathing. Align your head, neck and spine so no stress is placed on your back, shoulder and neck muscles. Remain in the pose as long as it feels confortable and then repeat on the other side.

this reclining twist restorative yoga pose is an excellent way to relax at the end of a stressful day you'll need a bolster and a folded blanket if you don't have these you can substitute a folded blanket and pillow to provide proper support sit on the floor with your right or left hip close to the end of the bolster bend your knees and slide your feet to the right or left depending on which side you are twisting use the bolster to support your weight as you lower yourself onto the bolster adjust your legs into a comfortable position you can place one over the other or open them up whichever feels more comfortable to you rest your arms on the floor in a comfortable position you can interlace your fingers you can interlace your fingers or lay one hand over the other whichever is more comfortable for you remain in this position as long as it feels comfortable for you when you're ready to come out of the pose use your hands and arms to raise yourself back up into a seated position and then repeat the pose on the other side e
