irva hasta sana Abra prayer upward slowly upward Mountain there's many names for it but we'll start here in Tadasana strong Mountain Pose crown of your head lids with an inhale reach your arms up overhead fingertips to the sky you can stop here with the palms of your hands looking towards each other or bring your hands to prayer overhead gently lift the gaze relax the shoulders away from the ears and then you can exhale hands to heart center I'm going to give you a side view of upward salute as well because the ribcage stained out is a really important part of this pose so from the side in Tadasana the belly is engaged here so when we inhale lift the arms up overhead the ribcage stays down stays controlled you can look up over ahead keeping the ribs tucked exhale hands to heart center
