The Radiance Sutras School of Meditation® - Lorin Roche teaching Instinctive Meditation®
If you want to learn to meditate, the Instinctive Meditation® approach is a way of practicing meditation so that it becomes the most natural thing in the world for you – a chance to rest deeply, reclaim your love of life, release tension, and emerge refreshed after a few minutes. This approach to meditation is grounded in the ancient yoga tradition and in the last 54 years of scientific research on the physiology of meditation. Whether you are a beginner or have been meditating for years, Instinctive Meditation offers an approach that aligns with your essential nature, honors your sovereignty and welcomes you as you are.
all right so why is my mind always wandering during meditation well here's a radical thought that's true it might take you a while to figure it out the mind is wandering because sorting and prioritizing is a big part of meditation yet when we're at ease in ourselves and we're giving ourselves time I'm just going to be here the brain can do this work that's been waiting to do of organizing sorting working out the action flow and what better time to do this than the inner vacation like feeling of meditation so figure that half or more of your time in daily meditation will be in this realm you could call it mind wander but put that in quotes because it's actually an internal choreographing revisioning and practicing doing the movements of Life while in a relaxed state
