Baddha Konasana Tutorial - Iyengar Yoga for Beginners. Stage 2. Welcome to our channel, Yoga with Lin and Leo. Safe, detailed instruction from experienced Iyengar yoga teachers. Baddha Konasana, sometimes known as Bound-Angle Pose, Cobblers Pose, and Butterfly Pose is a seated pose where the soles of the feet are placed together with the knees extended out. It opens the hips and stretches the groins and is very helpful in dealing with gynaecological problems, urinary tract issues and prostate problems. This Iyengar Yoga Tutorial will help you achieve a better action in Baddha Konasana if you find it difficult, for those who get into the pose with ease, these ways of working can improve your alignment and extension.The equipment used in this are a chair, a blanket, 4 foam pads and a bolster. If you don't have any yoga equipment, you can use folded blankets in place of the bolster/pads. This is our second tutorial in this series on Baddha Konasana.
