we'll go ahead and sit on the block now so sit your butt down still getting a nice stretch for the quads moving into a modified cow face stretch so bring your right hand behind your back make sure that the shoulder isn't internally rotating keep the chest open so shoulder up back and down and then with your left hand drop the strap to your right hand so i'm going to use the strap to help get my hands closer to one another and keep my chest open by rolling my shoulders back pull the strap in opposite directions open your chest and this is a really nice stretch for your shoulders very rarely done so something that's important to help correct imbalances you also might feel some stretching that's completely new and that's a good thing right we're doing things that your body isn't used to so that you can get stronger and be more resilient to injury try moving your hands a little bit closer toward one another as you progress into this keep your chest up keep the shoulders back and down and then go ahead and release switching sides bring your left hand to your lower back opposite side now right hand up drop the strap to your left hand and then bring the shoulders up back and down opening the chest pull the strap in opposite directions and as you work into this bringing your hands closer together using the strap and this is a really nice again stretch for the shoulders try to bring the shoulders back a little bit more and pull down while lifting the chest so going deeper into this this cow face stretch and breathe here give this two more breaths and this is important because we're getting a stretch through the chest and countering what we usually do with our upper body go ahead and release this stretch
