📣 Learn more about our 21-Day Yoga Challenge - www.yogachallenge.in/syt 🧘🏼‍♀️ So many of you ask us if you should shower before your yoga practice and my answer is YES! Always! 🚿

Water has immense significance in yoga as part of the Panchmahabhuta. It not only removes physical dirt but also recharges the mind. ⚡️

When you’re bathing, try to not use very hot water and if possible, bathe with bearably cold water. 💦

This will further tone your nervous system, improve recovery time and reduce inflammation within the body, thereby increasing your immunity. 💪🏼

If required, you can bathe a second time after practice but always allow the system to cool down first. 🆒

Yoga will increase the heat or Ojas within the body and you must not immediately take a bath after. Wait for 30 minutes before showering. 🧼
